When you get your bar of soap you want to keep it as dry as possible when not in use, keep it on a soap dish or drying rack. The dryer the bar stays the longer the life you will get out of it.

If the soap you are purchasing is a new product it may need some time to "cure",meaning before using it allow it to rest in a dry area to harden for 4-6 weeks. This will also extend the life of your bar. I do sell these soaps as soon as they are cut and stamped so if purchased soon after it will need to sit and cure first.
